Although she had not spoken Polish since she was a child, she was able to converse fluently in Polish during her visit. When she wasn’t travelling she enjoyed travelogues. Dr. Fry was a graceful dancer who enjoyed polkas and waltzes at the annual Lehigh Valley Viennese Ball. Girl Scouts had been important to her and sparked her interest in nature, wild flowers, wild mushrooms, and foraged greens.
