The jackpot for for Saturday night’s Powerball drawing continues the grow. The New York Lottery has announced that it has now reached $535 million, making it the 5th largest jackpot in the game’s history. Chautauqua County officials issued an update Friday afternoon on the problem of harmful algal blooms or HABs occurring Chautauqua County lakes. A Hamburg woman has been charged with stalking in the 4th degree after an incident in the town of Sheridan on August 1st. New York State's private sector job count has reached a new record high, according to preliminary figures released Thursday by the State Department of Labor. The private job count increased by 18,800 in July, reaching just over 8.1 million jobs.
