Budget hearings have recently wrapped up in Albany, as state legislators continue negotiations towards a final 2024-2025 spending plan for New York State. State Senator George Borrello gave an update on those talks during an appearance on WDOE's "Viewpoint" program on Friday. According to Borrello, the biggest sticking points over Governor Kathy Hochul's proposed $233 billion budget concern proposed cuts for schools, children and senior citizens, as well as providing an additional $2.4 billion for New York City to address the migrant crisis...
