An arrest for the use of forged cash resulted in drug charges for a Jamestown woman. On Saturday around 1:45 AM, Jamestown Police officers responded to the 7-Eleven on East 2nd Street after 50-year-old Shana Workman allegedly attempted to use fraudulent cash at the business. Workman was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. Further search resulted in officers allegedly locating over 31 grams of a fentanyl and heroin compound on Workman's person. Workman was charged with with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the 3rd degree and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree. Workman is being held pending arraignment.
