An affordable housing agency in Chautauqua County has received two awards from New York State. On Wednesday, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that Southern Tier Enviornments for Living (STEL) is receiving two out of 169 conditional awards that is part of the governor's $2.6 billion plan to develop 6,000 units of supportive housing across the state. The funds will help provide support services and operating funding for homeless persons with special needs, conditions, or other challenges.
