A 15-year-old has been petitioned to Chautauqua County Family Court after an investigation into an arson involving a garbage can at a Jamestown city park earlier this month. Jamestown Police say the teen, who has not been identified, is being accused of intentionally setting a fire inside a garbage can located in the bathroom at Allen Park on September 16. Police say a local citizen noticed smoke coming from the bathroom and called 911 to report the incident. The citizen also helped police identify the suspect.
