Area congressman Tom Reed has announced the approval of a significant federal grant for a Chautauqua County health care center. The $2,748,731 grant for the the Chautauqua Center, funded through the Health Resources and Services Administration, will be used to support health services including primary care, behavioral health, and oral health services to more than 7,000 individuals. The continued trend of physician retirements has led to private provider offices closing their panels to new patients. The Chautauqua Center meets the needs of these underserved populations.
