An investigation into a one-vehicle accident in the Town of Hanover has led to several charges against a Gowanda teen. Chautauqua County Sheriff's officers say 17-year-old Kyle Bomberry was driving at a high rate of speed on York Road at about 4:30 AM Thursday and ran a stop sign at the intersection with Hanover Road, went through the intersection and struck a tree. Both Kyle and his passenger, 20-year-old K.C. Bomberry, avoided serious injury and declined medical attention. Further investigation found that Kyle was allegedly intoxicated. He was charged with DWI and several vehicle and traffic violations. K.C. was charged with not wearing a seatbelt.
