Fredonia Police say a female suffered severe injuries from a 25 foot fall from an apartment building on West Main Street early Saturday morning. Police were called to 65 West Main Street around 1:40 am where the victim fell from a fire escape. Several witnesses told police the victim accidentally fell after leaning over the rail of the fire escape. They say she had apparently lost her balance and fell to the ground. Police officials say the victim was transported to Brooks Memorial and later flown by helicopter to Hamot Medical Center in Erie.
