Five departments along with Chautauqua County Emergency Services responded to a barn fire on Willow Road in the town of Dunkirk Sunday afternoon. The fire at 4500 Willow Road was reported around 4:30 pm. West Dunkirk firefighters received mutual aid from Fredonia, Brocton, East Dunkirk and Sheridan departments. Fire official say about a dozen goats died in the fire. A space heater most likely caused the fire. Crews were called back to the scene this morning when the fire rekindled.
