Three women from Erie, Pennsylvania face weapon and drug charges following a traffic stop over the weekend on Interstate 86. State Police in Jamestown pulled over a vehicle for speeding on I-86 in the Town of Sherman on Sunday. Troopers say the driver, 41-year-old Michele Irwin, was in possession of about six grams of marijuana and a metal knuckle knife. Irwin was charged with 4th-degree criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana, and speeding. One of the passengers, 44-year-old Melissa Fiesler, was allegedly in possession of a handgun without having a state pistol permit. Fiesler was charged with 4th-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Another passenger, 45-year-old Tonia Bohman, is alleged to have had 14 grams of marijuana. She was ticketed for unlawful possession of marijuana. All three are scheduled to appear in Sherman Town Court at a later date.
