A Jamestown man is jailed on $5,000 bail after he allegedly tried to rob a tattoo parlor just outside the south county city late Wednesday night. State Police responded to a 911 call at the Something Beautiful Tattoo and Piercing Shop on Foote Avenue Extension around 10:30 PM. On arrival, troopers learned that a white male entered the shop and demanded money. When an employee failed to meet his demand, the suspect took a coffee mug from the display shelf and left. The man, 26-year-old William Michishima, was located a short time later, and police say he admitted to demanding money. Michishima was arrested on charges of 3rd-degree attempted robbery and petit larceny, then sent to the Chautauqua County Jail.
