A 2-yard touchdown grab by Sammy Watkins with one second left gave the Buffalo Bills a much-needed win, 17-16 over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. The rookie out of Clemson had his best day as a pro, catching nine passes for 122 yards and two scores. It was a hard-earned victory for the Bills, who overcame four turnovers as well as the loss of their top two running backs, Fred Jackson (groin) and C.J. Spiller (broken collarbone) to injury in the first half. Defense was strong for Buffalo, as they held the Vikings to 276 total yards and sacked quarterback Teddy Bridgewater five times. In addition, cornerback Leodis McKelvin intercepted Bridgewater twice.
Next up for the Bills (4-3) is a road game against the New York Jets (1-6) at 1:00 PM next Sunday.
