Council to take up proposal to purchase new trucks

Dunkirk city lawmakers will likely take action during Tuesday's meeting on a request by Mayor A.J. Dolce to authorize the city to lease/purchase three new plow trucks with the city using CHIPs funding. Appearing on WDOE's Viewpoint program, Dolce says the current trucks are nearly 13 years old and they have taken a beating.
Dolce-New trucks are needed
The resolution would allow the city to use $170,000 the state highway aid to acquire the trucks.
