Jamestown Police are getting very little cooperation in the investigation of an incident in which one man suffered "3 or 4" minor gunshot wounds last night at Jamestown's Chadakoin Park. Police Chief Harry Snellings says officers were called to the scene -- near the basketball courts -- about 6PM. The victim, a black male, had already been taken to the Emergency Room at WCA Hospital.

Snellings says the suspect, an Hispanic male, ran off towards Washington Street... and, was apparently an Hispanic male. Snellings says police don't have a motive for the shooting. If anyone has any information on the case, they're asked to call JPD at 483-7537 or their Tip-Line at 483-8477.
