The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua (UUCNC), located at 222 Temple Street in Fredonia, holds a Sunday Worship Service at 11am, both at their physical location and on Zoom. The theme for December is Mystery. On Sunday, December 3, member Leanna McMahon will lead a service about “Restorative Practice”. To achieve peace and wholeness we must become a culture of restoration, building community, and developing trust so that we can navigate conflict in a way that deepens connection rather than in a way that damages it. How can we promote this shift within our congregation, our community, and the wider world? McMahon will share insights she has gained from training by the UUA and the Erie County Restorative Justice Coalition. After today's worship service, we will celebrate December birthdays with song and cake. Today is also Share the Plate Sunday. Our offering today will benefit Chautauqua Striders.
