Friday, 5/11 10:00am Bark up a Tree – Bring your furry friend as we enjoy a relaxing hike, and soak up the sights and sounds of Long Point State Park. Meet at the trailhead to the Point. Program is free to the public (approx. 1 hour). Saturday 5/12 10:00am Poems in Nature – Discover the poet within you as we create simple and fun poems during a relaxing nature hike. Meet at the trailhead to the Point. Program is free to the public (approx. 1 hour). Friday, 5/18 10:00am Two Parts Make a Whole – Have you ever been interested in identifying wildflowers, insects or trees, but didn’t know where to get started? Come learn the basics of using a dichotomous key, while enjoying a relaxing nature hike. Meet at the trailhead to the Point. Program is free to the public (approx. 1 hour). Friday 5/25 10:00am Tree-tastic – Adults and children alike will enjoy this hike through Long Point State Park. Learn to identify the trees that grow here. Meet at the trailhead to the Point. Program is free to the public (approx. 1 hour). Saturday, 5/26 2:00pm Nature Scavenger Hunt – Join us for an exciting hike as we search the woods for hidden treasures. Hunt for goodies with the kids, or come along to enjoy the relaxing hike. Meet at the trailhead to the Point. Program is free to the public (approx. 1 hour).
