Building a Better World One Lego at a Time iCal

Wednesday, July 19 2017 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Patrons at Anderson-Lee Library in Silver Creek are working on a communal Lego structure as part of the summer reading program “Build a Better World”. Each registered participant receives 3 Lego’s for each book read and then adds them to the structure, either starting a new section or adding on to what someone else has already started. As you can see, the structure is starting to take shape, with some patrons guessing it is a “happy town” or an “amusement park”. All ages are participating, including adults! Registration for summer reading is ongoing until August 4, when we will celebrate the end of the program with Mike Randall and Friends at noon with a pizza party to follow. For a complete schedule of events this summer, including Tuesday Afternoons with Miss Amy, Thursday’s Special Performers, Friday Afternoon Matinee, and Lego Club, go to, like us on Facebook, call us at 934-3468 or stop by 43 Main Street in Silver Creek. We would love to have you join us!
