Jamestown Police arrested a city woman on multiple charges after responding to a report of a domestic dispute Saturday night on the city's south side. Officers were called to the scene just before 10:30 PM and determined that 40-year-old Ashley Matthews allegedly pressed her forearm against a male victim's throat while in the presence of several children inside the residence. Matthews was taken into custody and held in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment on three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation.
