Cattaraugus County Sheriff's deputies arrested two men on bench warrants this past weekend. The Sheriff's Office reports that 80-year-old Daniel Gabel was located at his residence on Route 62 in Dayton shortly after 10:15 AM Saturday and was taken into custody on a misdemeanor warrant out of New Albion Town Court. Gabel was arraigned in Persia Town Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail. Meanwhile, deputies also arrested 40-year-old Daniel Huff of Gowanda at a location on Route 417 in the Town of Carrollton shortly after 7:00 PM Sunday on a warrant out of Salamanca. Huff was later released on his own recognizance and is due back in Salamanca City Court at a later date.
