A report of a fight on Jamestown's east side resulted in the arrest of a city man early Thursday evening. Jamestown Police were called to an undisclosed address shortly after 6:00 PM and determined that 34-year-old Demarco Lathan allegedly choked a female, making it difficult for her to breathe. Lathan was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and was held in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.+
