A Jamestown man was charged with 2nd-degree criminal contempt after city police conducted a check of two subjects reportedly violating the city code Sunday night. Officers saw a male and a female in the area of Harrison Street near Institute Street at about 9:30 PM and learned that 51-year-old Kevin Bellardo had a valid stay-away order of protection issued out of Jamestown City Court to stay away from the female he was with. Bellardo was taken to the Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment on the charge.
