Jamestown Police arrested a city woman on an impaired driving charge following a traffic stop early Wednesday. Officers pulled over a vehicle on Falconer Street for multiple violations just before 1:00 AM and determined that the driver, 56-year-old Barbara Blakey, was allegedly impaired by drug. Blakey was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail on charges of driving while ability impaired by drugs, 3rd-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to signal, and loud exhaust. She was held pending arraignment after refusing to submit to a chemical test.
