A warrant check Tuesday morning on Jamestown's east side led to the arrest of a city woman who was wanted by the State of Florida. Jamestown Police, which conducted the check at about 7:15 AM, was informed by authorities in Florida that 26-year-old Nicole Grimm had a confirmed probation warrant and would extradite. Police say Grimm violated her probation while in Jamestown, which prompted the warrant to be issued. She was taken into custody, transported to the Jamestown City Jail as a fugitive from justice and has been committed to the Chautauqua County Jail to await extradition.
