A woman from Sherman will appear in court later this month after allegedly writing bad checks. An investigation by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office revealed that 24-year-old Emily Walker issued two bad checks to the Sherman General Store back in April. Walker was charged with two counts of issuing a bad check, and is scheduled to appear in Sherman Town Court.
