A Gowanda man is facing a drunk driving charge after getting pulled over for a traffic violation in the Town of Sheridan. Chautauqua County Sheriff's officers stopped 33-year-old Derek Latshaw on Route 20 for driving over hazard markings at about 2:15 AM Friday. Upon further investigation, Latshaw told deputies that he was taking oxycodone. Latshaw was arraigned in Dunkirk Town Court on one count of DWI, then released on his own recognizance. He is due in Sheridan Town Court at a later date.
