A Kennedy man was charged with DWI after a traffic stop on Wednesday. State Police in Jamestown pulled over 29-year-old Terence Sweeney for speeding on Route 394 in Kennedy. Sweeney was taken into custody after allegedly failing several field sobriety tests. Troopers say he registered a blood alcohol content of .09%. Kennedy was issued tickets and will appear in Poland Town Court next month to answer the charge.
