Hot and humid conditions are expected this weekend across Western New York in an extreme heat event. A two-vehicle crash in the Town of Sherman landed one person in the hospital on Friday. Sherman firefighters, along with State Police and Chautauqua County EMS, were called to the scene on Bailey Hill Road shortly after 4:00 PM. A Dunkirk man is facing charges after a one-vehicle crash in the Town of Hanover. A Dunkirk man is facing charges after an investigation into a one-vehicle crash in the Town of Dunkirk late Friday morning.
