
Two Dunkirk residents are accused of resisting arrest in the city's Third Ward, with one of them also allegedly making a mess of a holding cell at Dunkirk Police headquarters afterward. According to Dunkirk Police, officers were called to the 400 block of Deer Street just before 6:00 PM on June 26th for a report of a disorderly subject. On arrival, they saw 22-year-old Arianna Thompson, who had an active warrant for 2nd-degree criminal contempt out of Dunkirk City Court. Officers tried to take Thompson into custody, but she allegedly began physically resisting. 24-year-old Jalon Krupinski allegedly tried to grab one of the officers and pull him off Thompson, and he also allegedly began physically resisting arrest. Both suspects were taken to police headquarters, where Krupinski was issued an appearance ticket charging him with 2nd-degree obstruction. Meanwhile, after Thompson was booked on her warrant, she allegedly became disorderly while in a cell and smeared bodily fluids around the cell. She then allegedly tampered with plumbing, causing the cell to flood. Thompson was additionally charged with 3rd-degree criminal tampering. She was arraigned on her charges the following day and released.
