Robyne L. Herbstritt, 74, of Stafford Road in Forestville died on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at the Gowanda Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Buffalo on January 10, 1952, the daughter of the late Isaac and Nellie (Smith) Bonsall.
Robyne was a graduate of Lake Shore Central School, Class of 1970 and worked as a teller for the former Evans Bank in Forestville for six years. Robyne also enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include her husband, Leroy Herbstritt of 46 years, whom she married on December 31, 1979 in Derby; a sister, Judith (Leonard) Insalaco of Waynesboro, GA; four nieces, Diane, Maggie, Missy and Debbie; four nephews, David, Matthew, Jessie and Douglas; and several cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Sandra M. Chido and Nancy J. Stockman.
No services will be observed at this time.
The family suggests memorials may be made to the Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 East Chestnut Street, Dunkirk, NY 14048.
