John H. Eggleston, Jr., 57, of Stockton earned his wings on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, with family by his side. He was born on November 11, 1968 in Dunkirk to his parents, John Eggleston, Sr. and Margaret (Highly) Hilliker.
John loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed cookouts, bonfires, and spending time with his longtime companion, Kim.
John is survived by his loving companion, Kim McKeown; his mother, Margaret Hilliker; his daughters, Amanda Eggleston and Courtney Eggleston Klar; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; his siblings, Richard Eggleston and Sondra (John) VanWormer; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he was predeceased by his son, Jonathan Eggleston; and a sister, Tina Near.
Relatives and friends may visit the Morse Funeral Home, 19 East Main Street in Brocton on Monday, August 10 from 2:00-4:00 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home.
