Arlene E. Miller, 93, of Creek Road in Forestville died on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at her residence. She was born in Dunkirk on October 22, 1932, the daughter of the late Raymond and Hazel (Ross) Erick.
Arlene was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1950. She worked as a secretary at the former Cliffstar in Dunkirk. At one time, Arlene worked at Merritt Winery in Forestville, as well as Purina and the former Roblin and Alumax steel plants in Dunkirk. Arlene was a former member of the Forestville Baptist Church for 70 years and a former member of the Forestville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was currently attending Gage Chapel Community Church in Smith Mills.
Survivors include her loving husband of 75 years, Robert M. Miller, whom she married on October 14, 1950 in the Forestville Baptist Church; five daughters, Deborah "Debbie" Gould, Nancy (James) Waterman, Kathy Coudrey, Bliss (Scott) McClain and Kimberly "Kim" Miller; her son, Brett (Heidi) Miller; as well as 24 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, John Miller; a sister, Karen Kyle; and two brothers, Barry A. and Robert James Erick.
A funeral service will be held at a later date. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Sheridan Center Cemetery.
