Henry Louis Rohman, 95, of Westfield passed away peacefully at his son's home on Monday, April 28, 2025. He was born on July 8, 1929 in South Riple, the son of the late Louis and Bertha Met Rohman.
Henry was a 1947 graduate of Westfield and Academy Central School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1954-1956. He owned and operated Rohman's Farm in Westfield, growing grapes along with his wife. In earlier years, he grew potatoes and was a sewing machine mechanic.
He was a member of the Hanover Lodge #152 in Forestville and the Shriners. He enjoyed growing grapes, working on his farm, and traveling.
Henry is survived by his son, Henry Lee Rohman; and several cousins on both sides of his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Almeda Anthony Rohman, whom he married on December 24, 1953 in Brocton; two sisters, Helen Davis and Amy "Emma" Ruth Rohman, and three stepbrothers, Wallace Rohman, Bill Rohman and Eddy Rohman.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 7 at 1:00 PM at the Freay Funeral Home, 139 South Erie Street in Mayville, where the family will receive friends for two hours before the service. Pastor John Snow will officiate. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery in Westfield.
