Robert C. "Bob" Cash, 68, of Fredonia passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 28, 2023. He was born on January 5, 1955 in Dunkirk, son of the late Joseph and Lucille Dickinson Cash.
Raised in Fredonia, Bob graduated in 1973 from Fredonia High School, where he was a member of its 1972 championship basketball team. He worked for over 20 years for the Village of Fredonia at the fresh water reservoir treatment plant, from where he retired.
Bob was a longtime Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees fan. He was a member of the Fredonia Beaver Club.
He is survived by two brothers, David (Kim) Cash of Fredonia and Jeff (Arlene) Cash of Connecticut; along with three nephews and one niece, including Marissa and Matthew Cash of Fredonia. Besides his parents, Bob is predeceased by his brother, Joseph Cash; and pet dog, Harley.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Larson-Timko Funeral Home, 20 Central Avenue in Fredonia, where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery in Silver Creek.
