Betty J. Burger, 75, of Kennedy passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. She was born on January 12, 1948 in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Howard and Myrtie Ormsby Overend.
Betty was a 1966 Cassadaga Valley Central School graduate. She was employed as a sales clerk at various drug stores, as well as stores at the Chautauqua Mall like Sears and Kitchen Collection.
She enjoyed her dogs and her cat, "Cameo."
Betty was the wife of 31 years to the late John E. Burger, who died on December 11, 2019; sister of Howard (Tameria) Overend of Clarendon, PA, Evelyn (Matt) Cardillo of Sharon, VT and the late Nancy (Waid of Stockton) Terrill; and is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 25 at 12:00 PM at the Jordan Funeral Home, 6 Parkway Drive in Sinclairville, with funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Cherry Creek Central Cemetery.
