Roseann M. Haynoski, 80, of Gowanda passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 in Canandaigua. She was born on September 3, 1942 in Salamanca, the daughter of the late James and Josephine (Bruno) Rivetti.
On September 30, 1961 in St. Patrick's RC Church in Salamanca, Roseann married Daniel A. Haynoski, who predeceased her on July 15, 2011.
Mrs. Haynoski was employed for many years at Sears in Gowanda and at the Gowanda Federal Credit Union.
Roseann was a 1959 graduate of Salamanca High School and was an active member of St. Joseph's RC Church in Gowanda. She will be greatly missed and is loved by her family and friends. She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds in her backyard. Roseann spent much of her later years with a close-knit group of friends and cherished the time spent with them all.
Mrs. Haynoski is survived by a son, Timothy (Marlene Pearson) Haynoski of Salamanca; two daughters, Laurene (Stan) Sutton of Canandaigua and Lisa (Brian) Thompson of Canton, NY; three grandchildren, Devan and Danielle Sutton and Gavin Thompson; a brother, James (Brenda) Rivetti of Olean; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 105 East Main Street in Gowanda on Friday, March 24 from 4:00-7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Saturday, March 25 at 11:00 AM from Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Salamanca. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Salamanca.
