An inmate at the Chautauqua County Jail was charged with a felony count of 3rd-degree criminal mischief after he allegedly damaged a county-owned tablet at the jail. The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division says jail employees saw 47-year-old Javier Baez of Buffalo commit the act. Baez was arraigned on the charge and will appear in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.
