Gusty winds have been wreaking havoc across northern Chautauqua County Tuesday morning, as the front end of a storm system moves through the region. There have been a number of reports of downed trees and power lines across the area. There was also a report of an overturned tractor-trailer in the westbound lanes of I-90 near Exit 60 in Westfield. Empty tractor-trailers and tandem truck traffic is banned on I-90 in Western New York and on I-86 in Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties due to the strong winds. The strongest reported gust so far was 74 miles per hour in Dunkirk at 11:25 AM, and Pandolfo says the wind will intensify as the day progresses...
