Multiple departments responded to a two-alarm fire that destroyed a reportedly vacant house in the Town of Hanover early Monday morning. Hanover Center firefighters were called out shortly after 3 am to 391 Versailles Road and received mutual aid from several departments, including Irving, Sunset Bay, Silver Creek, Forestville, Farnham, Perrysburg, the Seneca Nation, Sheridan and County Emergency Services. Crews remained at the scene until around 5 am. County fire investigators were requested at the scene to look for a cause. The house has been deemed a total loss.
