The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office has announced five new graduates from its Correction Academy. The Class of 2023 consists of Dylan Runge, Yesenia Pagan, Melissa Mueller, Kailyn Reynolds, and Thomas Hewitt. The Corrections Academy is partnered with Jamestown Community College as part of the Corrections Officer Technology Certificate Program. It is currently an in-service academy but continues to work toward moving it to a pre-service academy for students pursuing a career in corrections.
