11 new members of the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame were inducted during the organization's 41st annual banquet held in Lakewood Monday evening. Several different sports were recognized. Another inductee with Super Bowl ties is former Southwestern head football coach Jay Sirianni, who led the Trojans to two state championships in 2008 and 2009. His younger brother, Nick, is head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. Another inductee, Frank Jagoda, was a standout multi-sport athlete and coach at Dunkirk High School. Kirsten Green lettered in several sports at Jamestown High School, but at Duke University, he was a student-manager for legendary basketball Coach Mike Krzyzewski. She's now Assistant Athletic Director at Harvard University. Other inductees include Amy Swanson, Sheldon Battle, Bob Barlette, Bruce Johnson, Post-Journal Sports Editor Scott Kindberg, Fred Larson, and Marty Nichols.
