Meteorologists are keeping close tabs on a winter storm that's forecast to impact Western New York by mid to late week. The storm is forecast to roll out from the Western U.S. and is expected to bring a mix of snow, sleet and freezing to region starting Wednesday evening and continuing through Thursday. Kelly-Mainly rain south of Buffalo
Kelly expects greater amounts of freezing rain and sleet to occur further north, in Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Rochester. But Kelly cautions that there is still a lot of uncertainty about the storm, since any slight change in the storm track could change the precipitation type.
