Cornell Cooperative Extension to Offer More Educational Services

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County is growing and ready to offer more educational services in agriculture, nutrition, and 4-H. During the organization's annual meeting, Executive Director Emily Reynolds called it an "exciting time," with the addition of five new employees this year. Reynolds credits the growth to three factors -- more grant money, being fiscally responsible during the COVID-19 pandemic, and increased county funding before and after the pandemic... Emily Reynolds: increased county fundingThe recently passed county budget will provide seed funding for several agritourism events, including Visit the Farm Day, Meat Your Farmer, and the Farmer-Neighbor Dinner.
