A Dunkirk man is facing two counts of 2nd-degree assault after a reported domestic incident on Lake Shore Drive in the city of Dunkirk on Monday. Dunkirk Police say officers responded to the call around 8 am and found two female victims with injuries to their head and face who had been allegedly struck with a blunt object. The victims were treated by the Dunkirk Fire Department and then transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital. Police located 35-year-old Zachary Scott a short distance away with the assistance of a passerby. Scott was arraigned and is being held at the Chautauqua County Jail on $60,000 bail.
