

An early morning drug raid on Barrows Street in Jamestown Friday netted police two arrests. The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 2 Barrows Street in the lower apartment shortly after 6 am, with the Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team gaining entry into the residence. A search turned up a quantity of fentanyl, meth, crack cocaine, powder cocaine, alprazolam, subutex strips, scales, packaging materials and cash. Police charged 30-year-old Kyle Lewis (left) with four counts of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, two counts of 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and 2nd-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Police also arrested 60-year-old Michael McIntyre (right), who had a warrant out of the city of Jamestown and was in possession of meth. That led to an additional charge of 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both men were transported to the Jamestown City Jail and arraigned in City Court.
