Early morning drug raid nets two arrests in Jamestown

An early morning drug raid on Barrows Street in Jamestown Friday netted police two arrests. The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 2 Barrows Street in the lower apartment shortly after 6 am, with the Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team gaining entry into the residence. A search turned up a quantity of fentanyl, meth, crack cocaine, powder cocaine, alprazolam, subutex strips, scales, packaging materials and cash. Police charged 30-year-old Kyle Lewis (left) with four counts of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, two counts of 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and 2nd-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Police also arrested 60-year-old Michael McIntyre (right), who had a warrant out of the city of Jamestown and was in possession of meth. That led to an additional charge of 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both men were transported to the Jamestown City Jail and arraigned in City Court.
