A Jamestown Police officer who saved the lives of multiple people from a burning home earlier this year will serve as the grand marshal of this year's Jamestown Holiday Parade. Collaborative Children's Solutions, which is partnering with the City of Jamestown for this year's parade, announced this week that Officer Mark Conklin has been named the grand marshal of the parade, which is scheduled for Saturday, December 4th. Officer Conklin assisted several children and an adult who were trapped inside a house on William Street in the city during the early morning hours of July 19th.
