A Forestville man who allegedly failed to complete a roofing job in the town of Portland has been charged with 3rd-degree grand larceny. The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office reports that 40-year-old James Haskins allegedly accepted a check for $3,500, but did not complete any of the work and failed to attempt reimbursement to the victims. Haskins will appear in Portland Town Court at a later date.
