Chautauqua County Legislators have cleared the way for increasing the salaries of three key elected officials. County lawmakers by a 15-2 vote approved increasing the salaries of County Executive, County Sheriff and County Clerk. The local law also provides for an annual cost of living increase to the three elected offices. Legislators Bob Lemon and Bob Scudder voted against the increases that would take effect in January of 2018.
