One person was seriously injured Friday in an accident involving a farm tractor in the Town of Pomfret. Fredonia firefighters were called to the area of Route 20 and McAllister Road just after 1:45 PM and found that the victim had been run over by the farm tractor and the brush chopper that was attached. The victim was flown by Starflight to the Hamot Medical Center in Erie. The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, State Police, and Alstar Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
