NYC Gets Over Two Feet of Snow from Winter Storm Jonas

How much snow did New York City get from Winter Storm Jonas?  ABC News reports that the Big Apple picked up 26.6 inches over 24 hours, and it was more than many had initially bargained for when the weather forecasters were predicting what the storm would do.  After a travel ban was issued Saturday afternoon, many people stayed indoors, the streets largely deserted.  New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio tells ABC News that the travel ban has been lifted, but the city is not at full speed yet...

Three elderly people died Saturday while shoveling the snow.  The winter storm is one of the top three in terms of snowfall in New York City history.
